OUR HEART

Mosaic House Ministries exists to create spaces of belonging and becoming — places where people encounter God, grow together, and join His work in the world.

We believe transformation happens best in community: around tables, in shared gardens, in living rooms, during prayer, through mentoring, and in rhythms of life together.

Our Mission

We joyfully join Jesus in:

  • Our world needs healthy Christian leaders who operate from their true selves in Christ—leaders who are grounded in Scripture, formed in community, and shaped by rhythms of prayer. We create spaces where this kind of formation can take root.

  • Churches need supportive networks where pastors and ministry leaders can be encouraged, renewed, and equipped. We help churches deepen discipleship and move together toward collective formation and collective impact.

  • Our communities long for places of belonging, hope, and practical expressions of God’s love—especially in a time marked by isolation, fragmentation, and increasing pressures on families and youth. We join God’s work of transformation by creating spaces and partnerships where neighbors can thrive.

Our Foundation: A Fellowship of Churches

Everything flows from a covenantal fellowship of pastors who pray together, discern together, and co-shepherd our city.

This unity is the root system that nourishes every branch of our ministry.

Our Approach

We cultivate a whole ecosystem of formation, hospitality, and mission:

Our Values

Prayer - Praying always

As a discipleship community on God’s mission together, we practice prayer, hospitality, fellowship, and discipleship with a missional focus.

Prayer is our first practice because communion with God is the end toward which we labor. The Scriptures tell us that eternal life is knowing God (John 17:3). As we know God more deeply, our lives may more closely align with His Kingdom priorities.

Hospitality - Creating space

Through Mosaic House Ministries, we desire to live with our hearts open to every person, and to create spaces where people encounter God. As God has welcomed us in Christ, so we practice hospitality to others. This type of hospitality serves as another context for prayer and discipleship.

You cannot make your young people grow; that’s the Holy Spirit’s job. But you can create a space in which they can grow; that’s your job” Dann Spader

Discipleship - Following Jesus

At our core, we are a discipleship community on God's mission together. We desire to see Christians who pray always, create spaces of belonging and becoming, and love deeper. Our way of life together endeavors to both embody and advance this goal for the sake of God's Kingdom.

“The call to discipleship is a commitment solely to the person of Jesus Christ” - Dietrich Bonhoeffer

Relationships - loving deeper

In Ephesians 2, Paul describes how part of Jesus’ purpose was to create one new humanity, freed from divisions and united in God through the finished work of Christ’s death & resurrection. We desire to enjoy this mosaic reality regularly as a way of life. Brenda Salter-McNeil said, “For Jesus, genuine Christian unity is the supreme demonstration of the power and the truth of the gospel for a watching world.” The Psalmist put it this way, “How good and pleasant it is when God’s people dwell together unity!”

Our Staff

The Mosaic team is a community shaped by shared life, prayer, and deep connection to the local Church. Rooted in a network of congregations, many of us also serve in church leadership, keeping our work grounded in real relationships and lived faith. Whether full- or part-time, we’re united by a shared calling to love our neighbors, create spaces of belonging, and walk with others in following Jesus. We believe lasting transformation grows through prayer, presence, and faithful collaboration.

We Believe

The only true God, the almighty Creator of all things, existing eternally in three persons Father, Son, and Holy Spirit full of love and glory.

The unique divine inspiration, entire trustworthiness and authority of the Bible. The value and dignity of all people: created in God’s image to live in love and holiness, but alienated from God and each other because of our sin and guilt, and justly subject to God’s wrath. Jesus Christ, fully human and fully divine, who lived as a perfect example, who assumed the judgment due sinners by dying in our place, and who was bodily raised from the dead and ascended as Savior and Lord.

Justification by God’s grace to all who repent and put their faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. The indwelling presence and transforming power of the Holy Spirit, who gives to all believers a new life and a new calling to obedient service. The unity of all believers in Jesus Christ, manifest in worshiping and witnessing churches making disciples throughout the world.

The victorious reign and future personal return of Jesus Christ, who will judge all people with justice and mercy, giving over the unrepentant to eternal condemnation but receiving the redeemed into eternal life.
